Cambuslang were the visitors to Westfield today for this League Cup tie, which in truth was an unwelcome distraction to Dunipace's league campaign. None the less, the game was there to be played and it turned into decent viewing for the home crowd.

On the day , goals from Wright and Rodger couldn't split the two sides and it was straight to penalties (with no extra time in this tie) where Cambuslang ran out eventual 5 - 4 winners.

I'm sure no-one at Westfield will shed a tear about this cup loss with more important league business on the horizon.
